2009 CAHPS Health Plan Survey Chartbook

This section presents the national summary-level results for the 4.0 versions of the CAHPS Health Plan Survey for years 2008 and 2009.

Data were complied from the CAHPS Health Plan Survey 4.0 results submitted to the CAHPS Database from various sources. Because of differences in the source of data submissions to the CAHPS Database from year to year, it is not possible to directly compare results for the two years. Comparison of results across sectors also should be made with caution, since significant variations may exist in benefit design and other factors that might affect survey responses across sector.
