Introducing the CAHPS Database Online Reporting System

This Webcast presented a live demonstration of a new online interactive system for reporting comparative CAHPS survey results.

Participants Learned:

• The kinds of summary-level results that are available for the CAHPS Health Plan, Hospital, and Clinician & Group Surveys.
• How to view composite measures and individual question items either graphically as bar charts or in tables.
• How to use a special "report builder" that allows users to create their own custom reports.
• How to print and download results.
• How sponsors that contribute data to the CAHPS Database are given access to a password-protected area of the Web site, allowing them to view their own results compared to selected benchmarks.
• What’s required to participate in the benchmarking database for the CAHPS Clinician & Group Survey. Our data submission specifications will also be posted on the CAHPS site for all sponsors interested in contributing their results for this survey.
